Discovering Caracus
Caracas is the capital and most populated area of Venezuela. It is located close to the coast but rises nearly 3000ft above sea level which gives the city a unique climate. On one side of the valley are the uninhabited slopes of The Avila National Park, on the other, the rugged and heavily settled hills of the southern suburbs. Caracas is also an important cultural centre; The Museum of Modern Art is one of the most important in South America.
The city is also dotted with beautiful parks, and botanical gardens, view the beautiful Venezuela Fountain in The parque Los Caobos or simply loose a few dollars in one of cities many luxurious shopping malls.
