Discovering Sandwich Harbour
Not as the name suggests a harbour town, but originally a settlement since engulfed by the surrounding desert. Sandwich Harbour is a shallow lagoon lying South of Walvis Bay and home to nearly 200,000 exotic birds, a wondrous area of dramatic contrasts where the desert meets the ocean.
