Discovering Papette - French Polynesia
Papette is the capital of French Polynesia it is the centre of local government and the only urban centre on the Islands. Papette has a very colourful market and a number of museums. The most famous being the Gauguin Museum tracing the life of celebrated French Post Impressionist painter Paul Gauguin who lived in Tahiti during the latter part of his life.
